Olha Martyniuk | Culture of Memory and Denkraum Ukraine | From KrymSOS to the University of Regensburg

Olha Martyniuk is a historian who studied political science and European studies at NaUKMA. Before moving to Germany in 2018, she worked in civil society organizations (including "KrymSOS"). She researches the culture of memory regarding Soviet soldiers in Ukraine after working at the Buchenwald memorial complex. Since March 2025, she has been the coordinator of the "Denkraum Ukraine" project at the University of Regensburg.
