Applications Open for the Polish-Ukrainian Science & Technology Forum in Warsaw

Ukrainian researchers, research group leaders, and R&D professionals are invited to apply for the Polish-Ukrainian Science & Technology Forum, which will take place in Warsaw on September 7–11, 2026.

The Forum is designed as a platform for cooperation between the Ukrainian and Polish research communities, the exchange of experience, and the development of joint research and innovation projects. Priority will be given to critically important technology sectors, including energy, healthcare, digital infrastructure, and other deep-tech fields.

The program will combine visits to leading Polish research institutes and laboratories with project presentations, intensive training sessions, and workshops. Participants will explore the Polish research and innovation landscape and work on:

  • research commercialisation and technology transfer;
  • preparing, implementing, and reporting on EU grant applications, including Horizon Europe;
  • science–business cooperation;
  • the use of artificial intelligence in research;
  • effective communication of research results;
  • building long-term Polish-Ukrainian research partnerships.

The Forum is open to leaders of Ukrainian research groups in science and technology, researchers and project managers from universities, research institutes and &D units, as well as founders and managers of deep-tech companies.

Priority will be given to high-technology teams and projects at the pre-seed and seed stages, as well as researchers working on technologies for critical infrastructure.

Up to 24 participants from Ukraine and Poland will be selected. For selected Ukrainian participants, the organisers will fully cover accommodation, meals during the official program, local transport in Poland, and participation in all training sessions, visits, and networking activities. Travel expenses to and from Poland will be reimbursed up to UAH 9,000 per participant after the event.

The working language of the Forum is English.

The Forum is organised by the Kyiv Representative Office of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Cooperation Fund Foundation, and the CEE Startup Bridge Foundation. The event is supported by the Mieroszewski Centre under the 4th Open Call for Projects.
