Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) has opened the CTU Starting Grant 2027: up to €480,000 over three years for outstanding early-career researchers ready to build their own independent research group.
✨ No prior agreement with a CTU host department is needed to apply – the door is genuinely open.
The step from postdoc to independent PI is one of the hardest, and most defining, in a research career. These opportunities are rare and competitive, so if this is your moment, don’t let it pass.
📅 Application deadline: 30 November 2026
If you mentor or work with postdocs, please share – someone in your network may be exactly ready for this. 💙 💛
