The volunteer initiative Open for Action, has been launched to support Ukrainian organisations and activists across European Union countries.
The main goal of the initiative is to help Ukrainians abroad better navigate EU grant programmes, find international partners, and implement joint projects that benefit Ukraine and Ukrainian communities
Within the project, the following activities are planned:
- a series of free webinars across EU countries (one in each country);
- the creation of virtual project offices;
- the development of a catalogue of Ukrainian organisations in the EU and potential partners from Ukraine;
- organisation of brokerage meetings to foster international partnerships.
The target audience includes Ukrainians who represent civil society organisations, as well as European and international organisations working to support Ukraine.
The project is currently seeking local partners in EU countries. Organisations, companies, and individuals with access to Ukrainian communities and a willingness to co-organise events are invited to join.
Partners will have the opportunity to:
- become part of an international network of co-organisers;
- gain access to participants (with their consent) for further networking;
- develop cooperation within EU-funded grant initiatives.
