On 20 September, the report "Progress of the Initiative "Ukrainian Science Diaspora" as a response to the challenges caused by the Russian Invasion of Ukraine" was read by Igor Lyman within the framework of the international workshop "Impediments & Engagements. Humanities and Social Sciences since the Russian Invasion of Ukraine".
The workshop was organised by CEFRES, the French Research Centre for the Humanities and Social Sciences, established in Prague in 1991. It is therefore significant that the Ambassador of France to the Czech Republic, Alexis Dutertre, was present at the meetings.
The event was organised by CEFRES with the support of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Embassy and Institute in Ukraine, Charles University in Prague and the Czech Academy of Sciences.
