Dr. Andriy Zhugayevych is a theoretical physicist and computational materials scientist with extensive international research and teaching experience. He holds a PhD in Solid State Physics from the Institute of Physics in Kyiv and has worked at leading research institutions, including the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. His research focuses on multiscale modeling of organic and inorganic semiconductors with applications in energy conversion and optoelectronics. Dr. Zhugayevych has extensive experience in teaching, advising students, and mentoring research interns and postdoctoral scholars. Within the Mentorship for Research Hubs program, he can support research teams working in computational and theoretical materials science.
