Professor Maksym Yarema is a Ukrainian scientist leading the Chemistry and Materials Design Group at the Institute of Electronics, ETH Zurich (Switzerland). His research lies at the intersection of chemistry and device science, covering topics from nanoscience to optoelectronics, energy storage, and memory devices.
He is the author of over 90 scientific publications and the laureate of prestigious awards and fellowships, including the ERC Starting Grant, SNSF Ambizione Fellowship, and Marie Curie Postdoc grant. His academic activities include organizing international conferences (IUPAC, MATSUS), serving on editorial boards of ACS and Frontiers, developing international teaching programs, and participating in advisory and selection committees.
