The Ukrainian science diaspora is actively expanding its horizons and establishing itself as an important player in the scientific and educational space. Meetings and initiatives aimed at uniting Ukrainian scientists abroad are becoming a source of new opportunities for cooperation and knowledge exchange. One of the key events that demonstrate the activity and expansion of the Ukrainian science diaspora is the initiative to create a digital platform Ukrainian Science Diaspora. At the official opening of the Ukrainian science diaspora digital platform, the leaders of 10 Ukrainian science diaspora centers in 9 countries spoke about their experience of uniting the centers and the work they do to support and unite Ukrainian scientists in their countries.

The first to speak about their experience of unification was a representative from Finland. This center of the Ukrainian diaspora was formed on the initiative of the Ukrainian Scientific Diaspora, and it is already promoting scientific and educational interaction between Finnish and Ukrainian scientists.

The next was the Swedish diaspora center, which emphasized the importance of its activities, in particular in disseminating information on grants available to researchers.

Poland has long been recognized as an active and large centre of the Ukrainian diaspora, which organises various scientific events and facilitates the exchange of experience.

The Austrian and Portuguese chapters of the Ukrainian diaspora are still in development, but the Ukrainian diaspora in Austria has created a form for joining the community.

The Ukrainian Canadian diaspora chapter does a lot of general work for Ukrainian scholars in Canada, not only in scientific matters.

The Ukrainian diaspora centre in France is already organising events and initiatives aimed at supporting and developing the scientific community. In Germany, there are two organisations that support and unite Ukrainian scientists: The German-Ukrainian Association for Business and Science and The German-Ukrainian Academic Society.

The final word of support for this initiative came from Zoya Petrenko, the platform's coordinator from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. She congratulated everyone on the new stage of the Ukrainian science diaspora and stressed the importance of further cooperation and knowledge exchange among Ukrainian scientists around the world.

These centres of the scientific diaspora demonstrate the activity and importance of the role of Ukrainian scientists in the global scientific community. Together, they create new opportunities for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the development of science in Ukraine and abroad.
