The German Research Foundation (DFG) has awarded the von Kaven Award 2025 to mathematician Andrii Mironchenko for his contributions to mathematical systems theory and research on infinite-dimensional control systems. The award, endowed with €10,000, was presented on 29 October 2025 during the Gauss Lecture in Bochum.
Andrii Mironchenko is Professor of Applied Mathematics at the University of Bayreuth, a graduate of Odesa National University, and the author of more than 70 scientific publications.
