Translating Ukraine Summer Institute 2026 – Applications Open

Applications are now open for the Translating Ukraine Summer Institute 2026 - an international, interdisciplinary summer institute focused on the development of Ukrainian-English literary and academic translation and on strengthening the global presence of Ukrainian studies.

Dates: July 6–17, 2026
Location: Wrocław, Poland

During the intensive twelve-day program, invited faculty and experienced professionals will lead workshops and professional development sessions aimed at building key Ukrainian-to-English translation skills and creating a global network of translators who may collaborate on joint projects in the future. The three offered training modules will focus on translating literary prose, poetry, and nonfiction/academic texts, providing participants with experience across a wide range of genres and topics.
