CONNECTS-UK - development of dialogue between European scientific diasporas
The Ukrainian-British Academic Society (UBAS) was honored to be invited by Connects-UK to participate in a high-level event held at the Italian Embassy in London, which was organized to an exceptionally high professional and academic standard.
The program focused on the role of scientific diasporas in:
- policy formation
- sustainable development of scientific communities
- EU–UK cooperation
- supporting researchers in times of crisis
- scientific diplomacy and institutional resilience
Connects-UK has also prepared an analytical report with the participation of national scientific diasporas from 13 European countries, including Ukraine.
The Ukrainian-British Academic Society (UBAS) is officially represented among partner scientific diasporas. This is an important recognition of the professionalism, resilience, and growing contribution of Ukrainian researchers to the European scientific ecosystem.
