On 5 November 2025, a presentation of the promotional book “34 Snapshots: Science Diaspora for Ukraine” will take place from 13:30 to 14:30 (EET) / 12:30 to 13:30 (CET).
The publication brings together 34 case studies, primarily of German-Ukrainian projects, showcasing outstanding examples of international scientific cooperation. It also includes insights from the podcast series “Science Diaspora: Successful Stories” and key conclusions and recommendations derived from interviews with researchers and policymakers.
The research for this publication was conducted by Info Sapiens to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Ukrainian scientists abroad. The book highlights the contributions of Ukrainian researchers living outside Ukraine, members and potential members of the Science Diaspora Platform in EU countries, and demonstrates their crucial role in Ukraine’s recovery and development.
