On February 27, 2024, an online meeting of the co-founders of the "Ukrainian Science Diaspora" initiative took place with Ukrainian scientists in Slovenia. It is noteworthy that Sebastian Dahle, the President of EURODOC and a researcher at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), actively participated in the meeting. Sebastian Dahle and Iryna Degtyarova, who is the Secretary of the Commission on Strategic Issues for the Development of Higher Education of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools of Poland, played a significant role in facilitating this meeting.
The discussions revolved around the opportunities for Ukrainian scientists in Slovenia through collaboration with the "Ukrainian Science Diaspora" initiative. Additionally, there were deliberations on ways to broaden the involvement of scientists and plans for organizing a face-to-face meeting in Ljubljana in April of this year.
