On March 27-28, the UK-Ukraine Research Twinning Showcase and Networking event took place at the University of Liverpool. Over the course of two days, participants presented Twinning projects between Ukrainian and British universities.
The UK-Ukraine Twinning Research and Networking Showcase 2025 aimed to foster:
- Encouraging British partners to engage more actively with Ukrainian researchers;
- Exchanging experiences on recent research collaborations between Ukraine and the UK at the individual/institutional/national levels;
- Stimulating new forms of research collaboration within existing research activities and promoting the creation of new connections and joint projects between universities.
The "Ukrainian Science Diaspora" initiative was presented by Yevheniya Polishchuk, Ihor Lyman, and Uliana Zbezhkhovska. During the presentation, the official and unofficial communication channels of the initiative, the preliminary results of the mentoring program, and the activities of Ukrainian science diaspora organizations were introduced.
