Anna Romanova was born in Chernihiv. In 2006, she graduated from Chernihiv State Pedagogical University named after Taras Shevchenko, in 2009 - Chernihiv State Technological University, in 2014 - National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine. In 2010-2014 - Deputy Mayor of Chernihiv (coordination of the activities of the structural divisions of the city council in the field of tourism, international cooperation, culture, sports, family and youth). In 2014-2019 - member of the Ukrainian Parliament and Secretary of the Committee on Family, Youth, Sport, and Tourism Policies. Since 2019, she has been the executive director of the Association of Hospitality Industry of Ukraine, associate professor at the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University. Since 2023, she has been a researcher at Florida State University and a professor at Kherson State University.
