Agata Kręt spoke about the EURAXESS initiative, which aims to support the mobility and career development of researchers in Europe. She presented the objectives and goals of the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), as well as the existing programmes such as Banach Nawa and Ulam, and reported on the opportunities for cooperation between Ukrainian researchers and Polish universities. Agata also presented opportunities for Ukrainian scientists on the Euraxess EU database portal, where you can find job offers and grants, as well as tools for career development and scientific cooperation. She conducted a masterclass on how to register and search the EURAXESS database and introduced the participants to career development and training opportunities such as webinars and workshops. Agata also mentioned the opportunities for Ukrainians under the ERA4Ukraine programme and the mentoring programmes for young researchers introduced by EURAXESS.
Ivan Hynuk presented the Logos NGO, which has been actively working in Poland since 2016. The team of the organisation consists of volunteers who want to develop and change the world around them, promoting positive changes in Ukrainian society. LOGOS NGO has several main areas of activity, including education and human rights awareness, development of flexible skills, inclusion of minorities and migrants, development of critical thinking and organisation of various events. More than 73 integration events have been held, and workshops for children and adults, international picnics, and social campaigns are regularly organised, focusing on intercultural exchange, the power of cultural diversity and information hygiene. LOGOS NGO, through its goals, plans to do its best to realise the vision of the benefits of international communication through the organisation of projects.
