Rebuilding science in the post-war Ukraine will require significant efforts and cooperation from the European scientific community, and we see this contribution possible only through a thorough discussion of the above strategies at a joint forum of European and Ukrainian experts. The first Forum of the Ukrainian Science diaspora aims to develop a strategic plan for the recovery and revitalisation of Ukrainian science. The joint international expertise will mobilise the vision of Ukrainian scientists working in the EU, members of the EU scientific community and representatives of the EU business sector.
The first forum of the Ukrainian Science diaspora will be held on 8-9 November 2023 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, with the participation of the Ukrainian Coordination Centre e.V., the German-Ukrainian Association of Economics and Science, the European Commission's political movement Renew Europe and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
with the informational and organisational support of the Ukrainian Science diaspora
