EURAXESS Spain is part of a European Commission initiative that includes a network of over 500 service centers in 40 different countries. This unique web portal offers job listings, funding and hosting opportunities, career development advice, free tools, and more for researchers and innovators aiming to advance their careers and personal development by moving abroad.During the meeting, we will have the opportunity to learn more about the benefits of EURAXESS and career development opportunities in Spain.
We will also discuss the challenges faced by the scientific sector due to russia’s military aggression against Ukraine and ways to overcome them. On one hand, the challenges Ukrainian researchers currently face may lead to brain drain from the Ukrainian scientific sector, which must be prevented. On the other hand, Ukrainian scientists with international professional experience can become a unique asset for Ukraine’s post-war recovery.With the support of the Science at Risk community, we will talk about the next steps toward addressing these issues and effectively responding to the many challenges that arise during and after the war in Ukraine.
